NG2 Intelligent Ultrasound
With cutting-edge machine learning and advanced robotics, NG2 uniquely captures blood flow data in real time to help identify brain illnesses and diseases that present as changes in cerebral blood flow. NG2 provides the clinical team with critical information to guide patient diagnosis and treatment.
The NG2 Intelligent Ultrasound is revolutionizing how cerebral blood flow is harnessed and utilized.
The automated NG2 Intelligent Ultrasound is indicated to assess cerebral blood flow velocity within the major conducting arteries and veins of the head and neck, and to measure the occurrence of transient emboli signals within the bloodstream.
When we started to introduce the robotic transcranial Doppler (rTCD) in 2023, we found that this was absolutely game-changing for us and increased our PFO detection significantly, therefore increasing our diagnosis of mechanism of stroke, increasing closures. And we found that one of the keys was the significantly game-changing sensitivity of robotic TCD for PFO detection, but also grading.
Robotic TCD has really allowed for the democratization and increased utility of TCD. These are our two cath lab staff members. One is a nurse and one is a cardiovascular technician. Both have no training in ultrasonography. They both had a 1-2-hour training session done by the folks at Neurosignal and they have essentially been able to do these studies independently.
Revolutionizing transcranial Doppler ultrasound through the application of robotics and machine learning, the NG2 Intelligent Ultrasound enables real-time assessment of cerebral hemodynamics to support improved clinical decision making.
Robotics & Machine Learning
Advanced Algorithms
NG2 makes complex cerebral assessments easy to perform
Delivering accurate & reliable patient assessments
Advanced Algorithms
Delivers precise mean velocities and velocity trends
Uniquely identifies and marks emboli for accurate clinical assessments
Automatically identifies and locks onto cerebral vascular signals to speed exam start
Identifies regions of interest to assist with grading right-to-left shunt severity
So the benefit of having this robotic technology is that the patient’s head is actually braced so that it really helps increase the quality. The signal is held. It’s locked in. It uses AI technology to identify the artery and it is very consistent across provider, no matter who is doing the study themselves.
Not all robotic systems are created equal
Autonomous Robotic Transcranial Doppler Ultrasound
NG2 is the only transcranial Doppler solution that autonomously finds the optimal temporal window and automatically optimizes blood flow velocity signals.
Robotic probe with 5 degrees of freedom allows the NG2 to mimic the human hand.
NG2 autonomously searches the entire temporal region. Other solutions must be placed by an expert and manually moved if no signal is found.

We published the results in 2023. And what we found was pretty alarming. The NG2 robotic system detected 3x the number of large shunts Spencer grade three, four, and five compared to transthoracic echo (TTE). In addition, transthoracic echo (TTE) missed 23 of the large shunts. So, not only did we see a lot more shunts, 300% more shunts, but we saw shunts that were large, not just small shunts, but large shunts. So, transthoracic echo (TTE) undersized a lot of these and missed a whole lot of them entirely.

The NG2 Intelligent Ultrasound delivers high-quality performance and is easy to use, exceeding my expectations. I wholeheartedly recommend both the company and its products.
Since implementing NeuraSignal’s world’s 1st and only automated, robotic TCD (NG2) we’ve isolated critical findings, such as embolization, in real-time, that would otherwise be missed. This technology can radically improve clinical and financial value for any private neurology clinics in the USA

By providing noninvasive monitoring of cerebral hemodynamics, the NeuraSignal Platform can reduce the need for more invasive and costly procedures, delivering cost savings and increasing efficiency.
With real-time information, clinical teams can make more informed decisions about patient management, leading to reduced length of stay and improving patient outcomes.
With the NeuraSignal Platform, healthcare professionals can detect and manage complications more quickly, helping to prevent adverse outcomes, reduce hospital readmissions, and ultimately leading to better patient satisfaction.
CAUTION: Federal (USA) law restricts NeuraSignal devices to sale, distribution by or on the order of a physician. Indications, contraindications, warnings and instructions for use can be found in the product labeling supplied with each device.
NovaBot is a new name for NeuralBot with no significant differences in the product. The NG Intelligent Ultrasound system consists of the NovaBot and the Lucid TCD 2.0.
NG2 and NG View are not marketed for sale in the European Union.
